Clinton Cemetery East, A Sacred Landscape Including Ohio Veterans Memorial Park

Who We Are

Clinton Cemetery, located in the heart of Clinton, Ohio, just inside the southwest corner of Summit County, is a place of remembrance and reflection that has served the community for generations. The grounds of the cemetery comprise two main landscapes, separated by Cleveland Massillon Road:

Clinton Cemetery (West Side): The original, traditional cemetery where families have long entrusted their loved ones to dignified and peaceful care.

Clinton Cemetery East, A Sacred Landscape Including Ohio Veterans Memorial Park (East Side): A wide open extension of Clinton Cemetery that provides expanded opportunities for remembrance and memorialization, cradling one of Ohio’s most significant veteran tributes: Ohio Veterans Memorial Park (OVMP).

At Clinton Cemetery and Clinton Cemetery East, every life is remembered, every sacrifice is honored, and every visitor is invited to share in the legacy of respect that defines our grounds.

Events & Gatherings

Clinton Cemetery and Clinton Cemetery East, including Ohio Veterans Memorial Park, can serve as meaningful locations for select events, meetings and gatherings. Suitable locations include Heroes Hall, the OVMP memorial grounds, and other designated areas of the cemetery that can accommodate respectful gatherings.

All proposed events and gatherings must be formally submitted to Clinton Cemetery Association, reviewed, approved in writing, and scheduled in advance. In addition, any activity or event to be held on the OVMP grounds, whether indoors or outdoors, will also require the active support of the OVMP organization in the approval process. Any program must be of a nature appropriate for a cemetery and memorial grounds.

Gatherings centered on remembrance, education, community service, and veteran commemoration are potentially well suited, provided they preserve the dignity of the cemetery and contribute to its atmosphere of peace and reflection. If you would like to inquire about holding an event or gathering on our grounds, please initiate the process by completing the following brief form, including your email address and a brief description of your event idea.
